Project Description: The objective of this project was to create a series of destination posters for a fictional client Galaxy Tours to advertise interstellar travel and attract prospective space tourists as customers. I was inspired by the retrofuturism aesthetic and style and wanted to use it to portray a glamorized, idealized and nostalgic version of space. I wanted to make it look vintage but also futuristic at the same time. I wanted to illustrate three different landscapes of various planets and decided on Mars, Venus and Saturn because they would have the most visual interest. I also wanted to design the typography to match the style and aesthetic of the posters.
